Childcare and Preschool Program
Circle Time - songs, stories, counting games, finger play, introduction of new concepts or ideas, show and
tell. These activities are centered around our theme for the week.
Art Time - use of small motor skills, such as using scissors, painting, gluing; developing creativity.
Outdoor Time - use of gross motor skills, e.g., running, biking, swinging, hopping, group activities, and games.
Centers - water table, rice table, or paper table; play dough; blocks; cooking area; dress up; baby dolls;
science (e.g., magnets); quiet area for looking at books.
Chapel - each Wednesday for 4-year olds, together with the kindergartners.
