Pastor Jeff and Deb Gaustad are very excited to join the life and mission of Trinity, beginning January 3, 2012. Pastor has served congregations in Kentucky, Indiana, and Washington. Deb works in the medical industry as a biller working with insurance claims. The Gaustads have three grown children: Melanie Burch is married to Adam and they have three sons, Finley, Gustav and Mathias and live in Seattle; Christa Mallory is married to John, and they have a daughter, Olivia, and live in Kirkland; and Matthew and his partner Neal have a cat and a (big friendly) dog and live in Portland. Pastor's passions are preaching, teaching, cooking, travel, and enjoying time with family. Some fun facts about the Gaustads are, they have lived in eight states, he played in a country western band all through college and much of seminary (but managed to learn the words to only a handful of songs), Deb is a potter, and all of their children are artists (musical or visual), daughter Melanie is a member of the Rat City Roller Girls (a professional women's roller derby team in Seattle) and Christa's husband, John, works for the Seahawks, making the Gaustads, understandably, big Seahawks fans.
